Can Cypriot pound notes still be exchanged for euro?
No: the deadline has passed. Central Bank of Cyprus stopped exchanging Cypriot pound banknotes on 31 December 2017. They can no longer be redeemed for euro at face value, though notes in good condition may still have collector value.
Fixed conversion rate
The rate was fixed permanently by Council Regulation (EC) No 2866/98 and never changes: €1 = 0.585274 CYP .
Where to exchange
Only the national central bank redeems these, commercial banks and bureaux de change generally will not. See Central Bank of Cyprus for current procedure.
