Can Luxembourg franc notes still be exchanged for euro?
Yes: with no deadline. Banque centrale du Luxembourg still exchanges Luxembourg franc banknotes for euro, and has set no end date. Coins, however, stopped being accepted on 31 December 2004.
Fixed conversion rate
The rate was fixed permanently by Council Regulation (EC) No 2866/98 and never changes: €1 = 40.3399 LUF .
Where to exchange
